PPM & DITY Move Specialists Serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC

PCS season does not wait for a perfect moving day, and neither do we. Top Notch Pro Movers is a veteran-owned moving company that has spent more than 20 years helping service members and their families execute smooth, well-documented Personally Procured Moves (PPM), also known as DITY moves, across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. We know weight tickets, reimbursement paperwork, and report-date pressure because we have handled thousands of them.

What Is a PPM (Personally Procured Move)?

A Personally Procured Move (PPM), also called a DITY (Do-It-Yourself) move, is a PCS option that lets service members arrange and pay for their own move instead of using a government-assigned carrier through the Defense Personal Property System (DPS). The government reimburses based on the cost of shipping the same weight through a government contract. Top Notch Pro Movers handles packing, heavy lifting, and weight documentation while you stay in control of your schedule and move.
